Operation Sindhoor : Best Practices and Lessons Learnt

1. Defense is much more important and critical for a county like India than Offense 
2. Decision to purchase S-400 from Russia in 2018 ignoring US sanction threats was the “game changer”
3. Pakistan may be well below India in military strength but are very cunning in deceiving (eg trying to deceive India by keeping airspace open), spreading lies and denials 
4. Our military forces integration felt to be effective with the introduction of the role of CDS (General Anil Chauhan)
5. India corrected the mistakes from Surgical strikes of 2019 and ensured to keep the proof handy of all the critical moments (needed for questions from opposition and international community)
6. Indian political leaders including our PM kept away from making any kind of statements from the day the control was handed over to military and entire show was handled by them professionally shutting down any political angle to it
7. Kashmir was not ready to be a state, it probably diluted the vigilance and made it vulnerable again
8. It is impossible to neutralize each and every terror attempt however guarded we are 
9. India behaved very professionally in its reaction and showcased the power of democracy
10. Media should be more responsible and sensible - the war coverage  was mostly far from facts, highly sensational with intense and aggressive narratives 
11. India should aim to have a permanent ally who will join us in our war against terror (without asking they should join us against the enemy) 
12. India probably missed a golden chance to decimate Pakistan airforce assets and gave them the chance now to improve their defense and come back again prepared 
13. If India keeps the Indus Treaty suspended that will help us to have control on the ground tactically
